Resumen

Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar un tema de discusión constante dentro de la agenda política en medio de dos crisis financieras mundiales, la de 2008 y la actual: el mantenimiento o redefinición del estado de bienestar desde un estudio de caso de tres Estados. El estudio comienza con una breve mirada a los relatos originales y formativos del bienestar hasta llegar a la actualidad, reflexionando sobre los continuos caminos de reforma del bienestar que hace de este modelo el buque insignia de las políticas sociales valorando cómo han evolucionado tras la crisis del 2008-2015 y qué perspectivas de evolución presentan ahora con el impacto de la pandemia global en 2020 y sus planes de actuación como respuesta.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze a topic of constant discussion within the political agenda in the midst of two world financial crises, the one of 2008 and the current one: the maintenance or redefinition of the welfare state from a case study of three states.The study begins with a brief look at the original and formative stories of well-being up to the present time, reflecting on the continuous paths of welfare reform that make this model the flagship of social policies, assessing how they have evolved after the crisis of the 2008-2015 and what prospects for evolution they now present with the impact of the global pandemic in 2020 and their action plans in response.
