LA INMIGRACIÓN Y LA DELINCUENCIA EN LA ESPAÑA ACTUAL

Resumen
En el presente artículo se analiza la relación entre inmigración y delincuencia para conocer si es real el prejuicio, más o menos generalizado, de etiquetar al inmigrante como presunto delincuente o en realidad se busca a un culpable de los males o la pérdida de bienestar que pueda sucederles a los ciudadanos.
Los inmigrantes son solamente una categoría de análisis, ya que su conducta está determinada por subculturas diferentes en origen. Dentro de esta categoría se estudia a los más pobres procedentes de países del llamado Tercer Mundol o de los que están en vías de desarrollo y que tienen un “aspecto” diferente.
Del análisis de los datos se deduce que la mayoría de los inmigrantes son respetuosos con la ley, aunque los jóvenes varones marroquíes y rumanos están sobrerrepresentados entre los delincuentes. Los colombianos y argelinos no abundan ni entre los emigrantes ni entre los delincuentes, pero figuran entre los más peligrosos.

Abstract
In the present article the relationship between immigration and delinquency is analyzed in order to know if the prejudice, more or less widespread, of labelling the immigrant as presumed criminal, is real, or in fact a culprit of the ills or the loss of well-being that can happen to the citizens is looked for.
The immigrants are only one analysis category, since their behaviour is determined by different subcultures in origin. Inside this category, the poorest, coming from the so called Third World or developing countries and with a different “aspect” are studied. It is deduced from the data analysis that most of the immigrants are respectful with the law, although the young Moroccan and Rumanian males are more represented among the criminals. The Colombians and Algerians are not plentiful, neither among the emigrants nor among the criminals, but they figure between the most dangerous.
