LA INTEGRACIÓN DE LOS INMIGRANTES NO COMUNITARIOS EN EL ESTADO DE BIENESTAR

Resumen

En este artículo se pone de manifiesto la creciente importancia de la incorporación de los inmigrantes no comunitarios al sistema de Seguridad Social español y su creciente acceso a diferentes servicios y prestaciones sociales del Estado de Bienestar. En concreto, se analiza el proceso de integración de los inmigrantes no comunitarios en nuestra sociedad, en su doble condición de trabajadores y ciudadanos. Las previsiones de este trabajo apuntan a que continuará elevándose la afiliación de los inmigrantes a la Seguridad Social. De acuerdo a estas previsiones, en los años próximos las políticas sociales de inmigración tendrán que ampliar sus recursos y ayudar a completar sus procesos de regularización laboral y lograr su estabilidad.

Abstract

In this paper, the increasing importance of the inclusion into the Spanish Social Security system of non-EU-member immigrants and their increasing access to different services and social benefits of the Welfare State is revealed. Specifically, the process of intergration of the non-EU-member immigrants into our society is analyzed, in their double condition as workers and citizens. The forecasts of this work point out that the affiliation of the immigrants to the Social Security will continue increasing. In accordance to these forecasts, during the next years the social politics of immigration must amplify their resources and help to complete their labour regularisations processes and achieve their stability.
