Resumen

Las familias con menores han sido las grandes perdedoras en términos de exclusión social y pobreza tanto en tiempos de crisis como en tiempos de bonanza. Este trabajo analiza la vulnerabilidad estructural de estas y su mayor exposición a los factores exclusógenos del eje económico, del de los derechos políticos-sociales y del social relacional. El análisis se ha basado en la EU-SILC de Eurostat y en las cuatro oleadas de la encuesta sobre integración y necesidades sociales de la Fundación FOESSA. El diagnóstico revela el impacto que las últimas dos crisis han generado y los serios déficits estructurales en la protección de las familias con menores en nuestra sociedad, permitiendo concluir que se deben poner en marcha medidas preventivas de cara al futuro.

Abstract

Families with children have been the big losers in terms of social exclusion and poverty both in times of crisis and in times of bonanza. The work analyses their structural vulnerability and their greater exposure to the factors of the economic axes, of the political-social rights and the relational social axis of social exclusion. The research is based on statistical operations of EU-SILC (Eurostat) and the four waves of the survey on integration and social needs of the FOESSA Foundation. The diagnosis reveals the impact that the last two crises have generated in families with children in our society, allowing to draw the conclusion that preventive measures for the future must be implemented.
