Resumen: En este artículo se analiza la metodología para la caracterización del cambio tecnológico. Partiendo del enfoque propio de la teoría laboral del valor, se postula una concepción holista para la determinación de un tipo específico de cambio técnico desde la consideración del capital-en-general, el cual debe ser compatible con una fundamentación microeconómica propia del momento analítico del capital en su multiplicidad, tanto en su contraposición con el trabajo como en la competencia con otros capitales. Asimismo, se ubica la teoría del cambio técnico en el marco del marxismo y se señalan sus implicaciones más relevantes.

Abstract. This article analyzes the methodology for the characterization of technological change. Starting from the specific approach of the labor theory of value, it suggests a holistic conception for the determination of a specific type of technical change from the consideration of capital-in-general, which must be compatible with the microeconomic foundation that is characteristic of the analytical moment of the capital in its multiplicity, both in its contraposition with labor as in the competition with other capitals. Furthermore, it positions the theory of technical change within the framework of Marxism and identifies its most relevant implications.
