Resumen

Las imágenes y las pantallas dominan nuestro mundo. De hecho, nos relacionamos a través de estas últimas. La distancia determina nuestro nuevo modo de ser en el mundo digital. Por ello vivimos conectados en soledad. Estamos lejos y cerca de los demás. Vivir conectados implica que lo que nos junta y relaciona es, paradójicamente, la distancia. La actitud ante el mundo digital no puede ser meramente positiva ni negativa, sino que debe basarse en el conocimiento reflexivo.

Abstract

Images and screens dominate our world. In fact, we are socialise with each other through the latter. Distance determines our new way of being in the digital world. That is why we live connected in solitude. We are both far away and close to others. Living connected implies that what brings us together and relates us is, paradoxically, distance. The attitude towards the digital world cannot be merely positive or negative, but rather it must be based on reflective knowledge.
