Resumen

Este artículo analiza, desde una perspectiva comparativa, la vuelta atrás que supuso el régimen de Franco para los derechos de las mujeres, en contraste con los avances que se habían conseguido durante la Segunda República. El artículo hace especial hincapié en la política represiva que se aplicó durante los largos años del franquismo sobre las mujeres republicanas y sobre todas aquellas que osaron subvertir el modelo femenino que el nuevo Estado se había propuesto imponer.

Abstract

This article analyzes, from a comparative perspective, the setback that the Franco regime represented in relation to women, in relation to the achievements it had obtained in the years of the Second Republic, emphasizing the repressive policy that was applied during the long years of Franco’s regime to republican women and all those who dared to subvert the model of women that the New State had proposed to impose.
